General Information EMS Update 2024 is scheduled to be held March 21-24, 2024. We are proud to have Western Regional EMS Inc. as the sponsor and producer of this event. WREMS is a non-profit organization devoted to sponsoring educational activities on behalf of EMS West. Most classes count toward continuing education requirements for EMRs, EMTs, AEMTs, Paramedics, PHRNs, PPHEs and PHPs as defined by the Pennsylvania Department of Health, Bureau of Emergency Medical Services. Continuing education credits also may be applied to EMS certifications from other states. Check with your state agency. |
Registration for EMS Update 2024 will open in mid January.
The EMS West Board of Directors chose to have a committee develop the educational programming for EMS Update 2023. Committee members include: Douglas Garretson (chairperson), Dawn Buck, Robbin Cessna, Alex Cutsumbis, Diane Fitzhenry, Jonathon Jenkins, Richard Kaufman, Jonathan Madaras, Thomas McElree, Dr. Brendan Mulcahy, Larry Pantuso, Gregory Porter, Tiffany Rohde-Wyant, Brian Shaw, and Dr. Richard Wadas.
Class schedules and faculty are subject to change.
WREMS does not permit auditing of classes.
Tuition for EMS Update 2024 will include continuing education credit where approved and class materials.
EMS West has applied for the maximum continuing education credits from the Pennsylvania Department of Health, Bureau of Emergency Medical Services.
