The EMS Update 2025 Call for Speakers will end September 11, 2024.
EMS Update 2025 will be held March 20, 21, and 22 at Seven Springs Resort, Seven Springs, PA.
CONTINUED FROM 2024: We know that sometimes you have an idea for a class but you cannot stretch it into 60 minutes (case study, call, etc…). We are putting together sessions that might last 60 or 90 minutes and includes 2-4 presentations, each lasting 20-40 minutes in length.
The Conference Presentation Committee has complete discretion to select or reject any proposal on any basis.
Acceptance of your proposal does not guarantee conference placement. Additionally, no contract is implied nor should be construed by submission of your presentation proposal. A separate speaker’s agreement will be required if your presentation proposal is accepted. We reserve the right to solicit presentations from a broad spectrum of parties and will not guarantee conference faculty placement for any party. Until a signed speaker agreement is executed, we reserve the right to change all terms.
We encourage you to develop your proposal understanding that the majority of the students at EMS Update 2025 (~65%) are certified at the BLS/EMT level.
The Conference Presentation Committee will review all submissions and will notify all potential faculty members in October, 2024.
Incomplete proposals will not be considered. Proposals submitted September 12, 2024 and onward will not be considered.
We attempt to provide reasonable reimbursement for speakers. Most speakers are reimbursed by their organizations and donate their time to keep costs low; please outline your request for reimbursement on the form. All reimbursement requests must be approved in advance. Reimbursement requests may be reduced in amount or rejected entirely on any basis at the sole discretion of conference managers. Any reimbursement request not included as part of the speaker’s agreement is subject to denial.
Note: Our budget does not allow for honorarium (including hotel rooms) for co-presenters for sessions less than 2 hours in length.
