Is it safe to attend EMS Update 2022?

EMS West is focused on providing a safe and healthy environment for attendees, exhibitors, and our team at EMS Update 2022. EMS West is working closely with our partners at Seven Springs Mountain Resort, our local EMS physicians, and our EMS West Board of Directors to develop and implement a comprehensive plan focused on a safe and successful EMS Update 2022. EMS West is also following the latest guidance and recommendations for large groups and meetings from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Will EMS West require attendees and exhibitors to wear face coverings during EMS Update 2022?

As of January 11, 2022 - Yes. Anyone age 2 and above will be required to wear a face covering while riding Seven Springs internal bus transportation. Faculty will be asked to remove their mask during their presentation(s). Participants should follow Seven Springs guidance regarding face coverings elsewhere at the resort.
Face coverings can be removed when actively eating food and beverage in a stationary position and maintaining appropriate distancing.
